It's not a love story like many people think it is, but it's a coming of age story, and a really great one. One that is needed and one that was so beautiful! Loved the open ending and hopefully Alice Wu will write a sequel where we can explore more of Ellie and Aster. But overall, this movie was GREAT! I'm in love with it and I could relate to so much! Honestly one of the best movies of this genre that I've watched. 100% recommend.
